Apple Watch Series 7 reportedly has limited stock at launch

An Apple Watch Series 7 clone

An Apple keynote is due to take place this month with the iPhone 13 and Apple Watch Series 7. But several variations of the watch should be hard to get hold of quickly, suggesting that we will have to wait until at least October for be in a “normal” situation.

Recent reports from Nikkei and Bloomberg revealed that Apple’s suppliers were having production issues due to the new design. In particular, there is a new lamination technique for the screen and a case with flat edges, like the latest iPhones and iPads. It is especially the screen that would pose a concern.

In view of the situation, Apple recently agreed to suppliers taking a break from production to try to find a new way to speed up the process. This therefore explains why the stock of the Apple Watch Series 7 will be limited initially.

As a reminder, the Apple Watch Series 7 will be available in 41 and 45 mm. In comparison, the existing model is offered in 40 and 44 mm. Don’t expect a lot of new health things this year, it will mostly be a new design and a new chip. For health, it will be with the 2022 model and the following ones.
