Apple Watch Series 7 on sale at the end of September, MacBook Pro in November

Apple will be holding a number of events in the coming months, where we will see the iPhone 13, Apple Watch Series 7 and new MacBook Pros. A new rumor sheds light on the release date of the new Apple products.

Read on after the ad.

Rumor: Apple Watch Series 7 may be a little later than usual

According to a new report from DigiTimes Apple will not ramp up production of Apple Watch Series 7 until the end of September. That would mean a short production delay, which should come as no surprise. Nikkei Asia recently reported that the Apple Watch Series 7 is struggling with production problems. The new Apple watch was originally supposed to go into mass production around mid-September.

It’s unclear whether a possible production delay will affect the launch of the Apple Watch Series 7. Apple has been announcing new versions of the watch since the Apple Watch Series 2 in September. The company may again opt for an announcement in September this year, but a release sometime in October.

Apple could also opt for longer delivery times for the Apple Watch Series 7. Or maybe Apple will just solve the production shortages in time. In short; it can still go either way with the new smartwatch.

New MacBook Pros with M1X chip in stores from November

In a separate report, DigiTimes that persistent chip shortages are also hampering the much-discussed 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models. Apple is rumored to launch the laptops in October or November. According to DigiTimes and a number of other sources, multiple events are planned in September and October.

We’re pretty sure by now that we’ll be seeing the iPhone 13 series on September 14. Apple may send event invites at any time. There is a good chance that the event will again take place completely online. We don’t know yet when the other events will take place.
