Apple TV +: Tim Cook stops production on Gawker Media

Tim cook has a hard tooth. If we are to believe the New York Times, the CEO ofApple would have ended the pre-production of the series Apple TV + dedicated to the group Gawker Media. Tim Cook would have stopped short the current production by a simple mail, expressing his “Clearly negative opinion” and astonishing that this project was launched without having been personally informed. Although brutal, the reaction of the boss of Apple is not a fad.

Gawker Media brings together companies like Lifehacker, io9, Kotaku, Gawker.tv, Jezebel or even Gizmodo. Remember: it was a journalist from Gizmodo who had recovered the prototype of a iPhone 4 lost in a bar, and had preferred to make an article of it rather than return to Apple the device which was then considered a trade secret. A little more recently, it is again Gizmodo who had meddled in the private life of Tim Cook, pushing the latter to come out. Suffice to say that the liability between Apple and Gawker Media is rather heavy.
