Apple TV+ announces La Maison, a French haute couture series starring Lambert Wilson
Apple TV+ announces today The House, a new French series which will include 10 episodes and will focus on haute couture. Part of the cast is revealed, but there is not yet a release date.
Series The House includes Lambert Wilson, Carole Bouquet, Amira Casar, Zita Hanrot, Pierre Deladonchamps, Antoine Reinartz, Anne Consigny, Florence Loiret Caille and Ji-Min Park.
High fashion meets drama in this series that shows how the family dynasty of an iconic fashion house is engulfed in scandal and reinvention following a viral video featuring star designer Vincent LeDu (Lambert Wilson), leaving his family’s legendary high fashion house hanging by a thread. Perle Foster (Amira Casar), Vincent’s former muse who is still in his shadow, teams up with the new generation of visionary designers Paloma Castel (Zita Hanrot) to save and recreate the more than a century old Maison LEDU and claim their rightful place in the LeDu family and in the world of fashion.
The series is created by José Caltagirone and Valentine Milville, who also serve as showrunners. The script is based on an idea from executive producer Alex Berger. The production is ensured by Fabrice Gobert and Daniel Grou.
AppleTV+ noted than the series The House will be entitled to 10 episodes of one hour each. There is no image or release date.
