Apple no longer offers gift wrap with the red ribbon
Apple has decided to end its gift-wrapping option for purchasing products from the Apple Store online. The packaging was accompanied by a red ribbon.
As indicated Apple’s website, gift wrap has disappeared in several countries, such as the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, and others. Here is how Apple presented its service:
When you order certain products, you can add a special touch to your gift. The Apple gift package is a signature box with a red ribbon and a greeting card with your personal message.
To add a gift package:
When you add a qualifying product to your cart, check the “It’s a gift” box and you’ll be given the option to add gift wrapping.
Note: If you plan to pick up your product at an Apple Store, selecting gift wrap will extend your order time.
At the same time, Apple removed the option to include a gift message on an order’s packing slip. On the other hand, the option to make an engraving is still valid and it is free. This concerns a few products, such as the iPad, AirPods, Apple Pencil or even AirTags. Depending on the case, it is possible to engrave only an emoji. In other cases, the engraving of a personalized text is available.
