Apple maintains the wearing of the mask in its Apple Stores

Apple has made the decision to maintain the wearing of the mask in its US Apple Stores, as well as other measures related to Covid-19. The manufacturer decides not to follow (for now) the new authorizations in the United States.

This week, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) allowed fully vaccinated Americans to no longer wear masks. This is the case both outdoors and indoors. They also no longer need to obey social distancing rules (with a few exceptions). But at Apple, nothing changes.

According to Bloomberg, Apple has informed employees of the US Apple Stores that the wearing of the mask remains in place for the time being. This applies to both employees and customers. This rule will likely change in the future, to follow CDC guidelines. But as it is, nothing moves and you still need your mask.

Several American brands have already announced that wearing a mask was no longer compulsory this week. This is particularly the case with Walmart, Trader Joe’s, Starbucks and Costco. It is worth noting, however, that some states are phasing in the new rules, while others have yet to announce anything. California, for example, where Apple is headquartered, has not yet communicated on the adjustments.
