Apple: MacOS Mojave 10.14.2 and TVOS 12.1.1.1 released

Apple’s MacOS Mojave 10.14.2 is the second Mojave update released in September 2018. The new release will be released five weeks after the launch of Apple MacOS Mojave 10.14.1 with the group feature for Facetime and includes new bug fixes.

Apple eliminates a problem with some USB devices and external displays on the new MacBook Pro. In rare cases, the external display could not be used.

For example, MacOS Mojave 10.14.2 adds RTT support for Wi-Fi calls. In addition, a feature is built into the news app to open a story in Safari. The update also fixes a problem that can prevent iTunes from playing media with third-party AirPlay speakers.

MacOS Mojave 10.14.2 also fixes an issue that prevented iTunes media from being played back with airplay speakers from some third-party vendors.

MacOS Mojave 10.14.2 can be downloaded from the Software Update section in System Preferences.

In addition, Apple has released TVOS 12.1.1.1 as the third update of the operating system TVOS 12 for the fourth and fifth generation of the Apple TV. TVOS 12.1.1 will be released three weeks after the release of TVOS 12.1 and two months after the launch of TVOS 12 in September 2018. It is a bugfix release. There are no known new features.
