Apple Launches In-Dash Receiver – Compatible With Wireless Apple CarPlay

The DMH-WC5700NEX receiver, launched by Apple, pairs up well with Apple CarPlay. It has a large number of vehicles that are flexible than the ones found in earlier models.

Wireless CarPlay has made further inroads into conventional receivers and vehicles. This newly launched receiver from Pioneer will help you incorporate and use the technology in your vehicle even if you are facing a space crunch.

The DMH-WC5700NEX are in-dash receivers that form a part of Apple’s NEX series. It supports Alexa and Android Auto along with CarPlay. That, in turn, ensures that the receivers will be compatible with your overall tech environment. The 6.8-inch touchscreen is integrated in the system. Apple states that once you get this, you can easily get your older receiver units replaced.

The Pioneer NEX aims at getting the monitor disconnected from the chassis, so that there would be more flexibility in the tech ecosystem. The DMH-WC5700NEX, which is a part of the NEX range, can be set up easily using one of the two extension cables provided to the user. The whole system has been designed in a way that you would not have to struggle to move around things around your car to create additional space.

The all-new Pioneer Receiver features a 13-band equalizer, high-resolution audio playback, rear-camera input, FLAC support, 4V RCA preamps, Bluetooth, compatibility with SiriusXM, and HDMI support.

As of now, Apple has not released a list of the devices it is compatible with. But, one of the major selling points of the device is said to be its compatibility with a wide range of devices. Ted Cardenas, Vice President of Marketing for Pioneer, has categorically stated that it will be compatible with most of the latest auto models.

Cardenas further stated that with the DMH-WC5700NEX, Pioneer aims to offer upgrade solutions for a wide range of vehicles, including those which have had very restrictive or limited facilities as far as installing an in-dash receiver is concerned. Many renowned car models have suffered from this problem in the past and this new technology aims to eliminate this.

Because of this technology, car owners now have the option of installing Apple CarPlay, Amazon Alexa, Android Auto, and several other services to bring out a positive improvement in their overall driving experience.

Pioneer hasn’t yet revealed the final price for the DMH-WC5700NEX. While there are speculations in the trade about it, the company is yet to make a formal announcement. It is expected to be launched in the market in the summer of 2021.
