iPhone 14 event: September 7
According to the usually reliable Apple analyst Mark Gurman, Apple will hold a new event on Wednesday 7. This event will focus on the iPhone 14 and the Apple Watch Series 8.
If Apple is indeed going to unveil the iPhone 14 on September 7, the official invitations are usually sent a week earlier. It would even be possible that the invitations will come around the end of August.
This year it will again be a digital presentation. There may be a small group of journalists present, but we don’t expect large numbers. Apple has already started recording the digital iPhone 14 event.
The iPhone 14 event is a week earlier than we expect. Usually, Apple holds the big iPhone event on the second Tuesday in September. This would mean that the iPhone 14 event will actually take place on September 13.
The fact that Apple now opts for a week earlier is striking, because that has not happened since the iPhone 7 (2016). Just a little patience: at the end of August we will know for sure when the iPhone 14 event will take place in September.
iPhone 14 and Apple Watch
Apple will show the iPhone 14 during this event. The company plans to introduce four models: the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. There will (unfortunately) not be a successor to the iPhone 13 mini.

In addition, three new Apple Watches are on the way. The Apple Watch Series 8, a new Apple Watch SE and an extra sturdy Apple Watch ‘Pro’. Rumor has it that this sturdy Apple Watch will receive the title ‘Explorer Edition’.

Another Apple event in October
Gurman has previously said that there will be another event after that. This event will take place sometime in October. Here comes, according to the journalist from Bloomberg a new iPad and the Mac line-up.
