“Apple comes with third, larger watch in the Watch 8 Series”
The upcoming Apple Watch Series 8 may consist of three watches, including a larger model. That’s what a well-known analyst claims. The new smartwatch would have a 1.99-inch screen.

‘Larger model in Apple Watch Series 8’
The Apple Watch has traditionally been available in two sizes. For example, the Apple Watch Series 7 consists of models with a case of 41 and 45 millimeters. The latter has a 1.9-inch screen. According to analyst Ross Young a third and larger variant will be added in the new Apple Watch Series 8. The difference is not very dramatic. According to Young, the new watch has a 1.99-inch display. That is about five percent larger than the current top model.
Jeff Pu, another analyst, also thinks Apple is working on a smartwatch with a 2-inch screen. It is not yet known what we can expect from this new watch. There have been rumors for years that the company wants to release an Apple Watch with a flat screen. The modest growth of the display could be part of this redesign.
It can also be a special version of the watch with an extra robust housing. There have been rumors about this for a long time as well. This Apple Watch is said to be aimed at fans of extreme sports and will be called the ‘Explorer Edition’. The watch should be more resistant to a serious fall. You may also be able to scuba dive with it. Normal Apple Watches are water resistant to ‘only’ 50 meters depth.
This is what we know about the Apple Watch Series 8
Apple will probably announce the Watch Series 8 in September, along with the iPhone 14. You don’t have to buy it for the extra speed. The watch gets the same chip that is in the Series 7 and Series 6. The Apple Watch Series 8 may get a sensor to determine whether you have a fever. Hopefully Apple has some more innovations in store, otherwise it promises to be a boring update…
