App Store Connect adds support for visionOS apps for the Apple Vision Pro

Apple offers an update to its application App Store Connect on iPhone and iPad. Version 1.12 adds support for visionOS applications, namely the Apple Vision Pro headset operating system.

The Apple Vision Pro will be able to run iPhone and iPad apps without requiring additional work from developers. However, developers can tweak their apps for the all-new platform using the visionOS SDK released this week.

What, by the way, is App Store Connect? Apple describes it this way:

Use App Store Connect for iPhone and iPad to manage apps you’ve developed for the App Store. View app status, manage beta testing with TestFlight, manage app store submissions, and monitor app performance and sales, all on your device. You can even receive notifications about key events, such as when a user posts a review, so you can respond quickly.

Apple made the Vision Pro official earlier this month during the WWDC opening keynote. It will be necessary to wait until the beginning of 2024 for the marketing. It will hit the US first with a price tag of $3,499. The mixed reality headset will arrive later in other countries, without it being known yet what the price will be in euros.
