App rips off unsuspecting iPhone users
ChatGPT is on everyone’s lips. No wonder that artificial intelligence is also used for tricks and bad guys try to cash in on it. Now even Apple has to intervene and kick an app out of the App Store. This rips off iPhone users and literally tries to pull the money out of their pockets.
ChatGPT is so much more than just a prototype chatbot based on artificial intelligence (AI) based. The system developed by the US company OpenAI and released in November 2022 can not only talk to users, ChatGPT is so “smart” that it also writes poems, creates tables and does all sorts of other things if you do it asks politely – almost frightening.

If you want to try all this on the web, you can do so free of charge after a short registration with the provider on the website do – there are no additional costs or subscriptions. However, this does not prevent some contemporaries from already earning money with a service that is free of charge.

For example, the makers of the “ChatGPT Chat GPT AI With GPT-3” app in Apple’s App Store recently gave the impression that their app was the official offer of ChatGPT – a hard-hitting deception. A lot of money was then required to use the app – in this country just under 10 euros per week, alternatively 23 euros per month or 60 euros per year. Pretty awesome. In addition, the makers are said to have made it difficult to cancel the subscription.
Watch out in the App Store
After the app was published in December and initially accepted by Apple in the App Store without hesitation, the iPhone manufacturer has now stepped in and banned the fraudulent app (Source: iphone-ticker.de). In the time leading up to the sacking, however, the app was able to storm the charts and certainly gave the developers a real windfall. Important to know: It is and was not the only app, which uses this new scam. So once again as a reminder: ChatGPT is free and is available directly on the web. There is no official app at all. So whoever is asking for money is trying to rip you off – stay away.
