App of the Week – Ufo Sightings is a fun one for this world ufo day

Flying saucers, Martians, aliens, extraterrestrial life: today is all about unidentified flying objects. UFOs are regularly spotted and, although there are few detailed photos, they regularly stir things up. That’s why it’s World UFO Day and that’s why we discuss UFO Sightings as App of the Week.

Ufo Sightings

The Ufo Sightings app is typically an app that you download for fun, view and then delete. This is mainly because new content does not appear on it every day. After all, not every day a new UFO is spotted. It is therefore a very simple app. You see a world map with all Ufootjes on places where an unidentified flying object has been seen. That can of course really be something extraterrestrial, but usually it’s just the glow of a lamp or a fairly normal natural phenomenon.

However, it should not spoil the fun of Ufo Sightings. It’s nice to see the high concentration of potential alien phenomena in the United States, or to see where that one UFO was once spotted in the Netherlands. You can tap on each UFO, after which an information block follows with what exactly was seen, sometimes with photos, with the date, by whom it was seen and how big it must have been. The only difficulty is that anyone can register a UFO, but can also do so in their own language. In France you see descriptions in French. We could have used a Google Translate on that.

Furthermore, it is nice to study what crazy things have been seen. In any case, it is interesting to occasionally reflect on the concept of extraterrestrial life. Does it really exist? Would it have discovered us already? How does it look? World UFO Day is of course the perfect opportunity for that. This app is nice and clear and simple, so you can easily keep track of what you have already read and easily register a spotted UFO yourself.
