Android 12: First beta coming soon

Many of you have not yet received an update to Android 11 and there is already a lot of talk on the Internet about the new Android 12. It may seem too early, but a year ago the first version of the Android 11 OS was released in February. Android 12 will certainly not be an exception, so the first beta version of this system may be here soon.

By the way, almost 7 months passed last year from the release of the first version to the release of the final Android 11. So this year we have a long way to go and it is high time to go on it.

The first hint of the beta version of Android 12

Phone Arena sees the update of the Android Beta Feedback app, which is used to provide feedback, as the first hint of a beta version. It is intended mainly for testers and courageous people who will not be hindered by smaller or larger software problems. The first version of this application was released while testing Android Q, from which Android 10 later emerged.

Google encourages beta users to delete the application after the trial period. However, those lazy were rewarded by upgrading from version 2.11 to 2.15-betterbug.external_20201211_RC02. However, even if you manage to get this version, it is currently practically unusable.

The application will be reusable only after the start of the trial period. It started last year in February and the year before in March. This year it looks like February again. This period applies primarily to users of Pixel devices from Google. They will have to decide if they are worth upgrading to the non-optimized beta version of Android 12 and face the consequences of higher battery consumption, software bugs and more, just to be proud to be the first to have Android 12.

Google begins its trial period with two developer versions, followed by three beta versions, and thus sends the world the final version of the new Android. We will see if the cycle repeats this year as well.
