Android 11 update from now on in the Netherlands
Nokia 5.3 users can download the update to Android 11 from now on. The owners of the device had to wait a long time for it, but now it has also arrived in the Netherlands.
Nokia 5.3 gets Android 11
Last week, HMD Global started rolling out Android 11 for the Nokia 5.3. Theo now informs DroidApp that his smartphone has received the update to Android 11. This is the starting signal for a roll-out in the Netherlands and Belgium. Users of the device can expect the new Android version for their Nokia 5.3 from now on. Thanks to Android 11, you can take advantage of several new features. Think of the improved notifications, media player and more permission settings. Security update June 2021 will be rolled out along with the update.
Nokia is very late in rolling out Android 11 for the Nokia 5.3. In October last year, the manufacturer indicated that the device would receive the update to Android 11 at the end of Q4 2020 – early Q1 2021. After that it was quiet for a long time, only to report in May that the update would appear in Q2 2021. It is now August and only now has the manufacturer started the rollout.
When the update is available, you will receive a notification on your smartphone.
