Amazon shows the new smartwatch models prematurely
Samsung reportedly wants to introduce its new generation of smartwatches on August 11th. Amazon has already divulged many details and pictures of the Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic including prices.
After render images, rumors and a first official look at the user interface of the Galaxy Watch 4, the Canadian branch of Amazon has lost sight of the first Samsung smartwatches based on the new Wear OS. The product pages are still online at the time of this writing. In addition to press photos of the watches, they also show prices and availability.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic Pre-Leaked

According to the information from Amazon (via Winfuture) Samsung will present two model variants. The normal version comes in 44 and 40 millimeters in diameter and the cheapest version comes with a metal housing made of aluminum. The larger model has a 1.36-inch display and a 361 mAh battery. The smaller version has a 1.19-inch display with a 247 milliampere-hour battery.
The Classic versions of the Watch 4 have the same display and battery sizes, but are slightly larger with 46 and 42 millimeters in diameter.

The Classic models are a little larger due to their operating concept. Because in addition to a touch screen, like older Galaxy Watch models, they have a rotating bezel with which the watches can be operated.
The upcoming watches also have the usual sport modes and various sensors on board, for example to measure heart rate and blood oxygen saturation. In addition to variants with WLAN, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC, Samsung will also offer LTE-capable variants.
According to the information on the Amazon product pages, the watches will go on sale on August 27 and cost a little over 310 Canadian dollars without taxes. We can assume that prices in Europe could also start from 300 euros.

Further products are also expected on August 11th, some of which have already been leaked, but not on such a large scale. Samsung will probably show two new foldables with the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3, and new Galaxy Buds are also expected.
