Already a new PlayStation 5: this is different
A new PlayStation 5 has already appeared and this is different from the old model.
The PS5 has been on the market for less than a year. The console is slowly available and many are still waiting for the moment to purchase their copy. However, Sony has already released another version. Press Start reports about this.
This modified version was launched in Australia. Don’t worry if you just bought a PS5. This renewed PlayStation 5 is especially technically different. The processing power, storage and appearance have all remained the same.
The updated PlayStation 5 features a new screw type to mount the kickstand. This one is slightly friendlier to use. You no longer need a screwdriver to put the PS5 on the stand with this new screw type. Another difference is that the console weighs 300 grams less.
To go into a little more detail. The PS5s of this new type are called CFI-1102A. For comparison, the old type name was CFI-1000. Now most households will have a screwdriver somewhere. If this is not the case, you can still nicely put the PS5 on the standard. It is not known whether the renewed PlayStation 5 will also be sold elsewhere.
