‘iPhone 14 models all get smooth screen’

As it looks now, the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max will have a 120Hz ProMotion screen. We know such a display from the iPad Pro and it refreshes 120 times per second. This makes scrolling through your social media or favorite website look much smoother. The cheaper iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini are expected to do with an ‘old-fashioned’ 60Hz screen.

That could change next year. MacRumors writes that all Apple screen suppliers can produce 120Hz displays by 2022. The website therefore speculates that the company will also give all models of the iPhone 14 such a screen.

We take this reporting with a grain of salt, but it’s not a crazy thought. Apple often puts new technology in its most expensive smartphones first. Later, these trickle down to the cheaper models.

According to previous rumors, Apple will not release a 5.4-inch phone next year. The iPhone 12 mini is a flop. There will probably be two variants of the iPhone 14 with a screen of 6.1 and 6.7 inches. The iPhone 14 Pro will also receive two models with the same dimensions. It is unclear what the differences will be. The normal models may still have a notch, while the Pro variants will only have a hole in the screen for the selfie camera.

This is what we think we know about the iPhone 13

Before we see the iPhone 14, it will of course be time for the iPhone 13 series in September. We already know quite a lot about the new smartphones. For example, the iPhone 13 will probably get a smaller notch, so you have more screen left. Most models of the iPhone 13 also have the fastest form of 5G. Do you want to know more?
