Alfred Hitchcock – Vertigo – -apkrig

The film Dizziness from 1958 is one of the most famous works by director Alfred Hitchcock. The film about a retired police officer trying to overcome a difficult situation and growing paranoia has inspired numerous other cinematographic works over more than half a century. Even the creators of Pendulo Studios are very well aware of the sonority of his name, and so their latest story adventure is just like that: Alfred Hitchcock – Vertigo.

The studio under the auspices of Microids has unveiled its new thriller as part of the Guerrilla Collective independent title show, and unfortunately the effort to make a living from the famous name is very noticeable here.

According to the official website, their Vertigo will have practically nothing to do with the film plot – in their version it tells the story of a writer who survived a strange crash. Although they did not find anyone else at the scene of the accident, they believe that he broke down with his wife and daughter.

Since then, he has suffered from dizziness and must reveal why in the story. With that, of course, you will help him through a careful exploration of the visions of three different characters. The adventure takes place in several different timelines, and it will reveal to you which of them are real and when they are just false memories.

Spanish Pendulo Studios says it will be a brand new story of obsession, memory, manipulation and madness, which is only loosely inspired by Hitchcock’s Vertigo. The authors refer to the author’s license, and according to the narrative designer José Monchan, some characters from their Vertigo are said to borrow from other films by the famous director, such as Rebecca or Psych. Of course, the deceased filmmaker himself has nothing to do with the game.

Game thriller Alfred Hitchcock – Vertigo will be released later this year for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and Nintendo Switch.
