The release of the AirPods 3 has been delayed, but when will the new earbuds come? Probably soon, because according to the latest rumors, mass production has already started.

AirPods 3: Release delayed, but they’re almost there

During the Apple event on September 14, the iPhone 13 and new iPad mini were unveiled. The new AirPods 3 were also expected to make their appearance. But alas, the earplugs were nowhere to be seen. Fortunately, there is now hope on the horizon, because according to DigiTimes mass production has already started.

Possible new event in the planning

When will the AirPods 3 come? Probably during the next event (already the fourth of 2021). Website MacRumors may also think they already know when the next Apple event will take place. The presentation is probably on Tuesday 12 October.

According to previous rumors, this event would be about the Mac. That wrote the very reliable Apple insider Mark Gurman by Bloomberg in a tweet when asked about the MacBook Pro’s release.

Now that there are indications that the mass production of the AirPods 3 has started, it is very possible that the AirPods 3 will also make their appearance here.

What do we expect from the AirPods 3?

The AirPods 3 have been delayed, but we do know what to expect from the new earbuds. According to the well-known Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo the AirPods 3 get a very different design than their predecessors. The earbuds would follow the design of the AirPods Pro.
