After all, the new God of War doesn’t have to be called Ragnarok -apkrig

We don’t know much about the game itself until we have to continue the God of War series later this year. Developers from the Santa Monica studio confirmed last September that the game is being worked on and also introduced a logo with the runic inscription Ragnarok, but so far they have not confirmed whether it is a real subtitle or not beyond further information. Given that the symbols are carried on its back by the legendary snake Jörmungandr, one could suggest a lot from the hint, but we are still waiting for speculation to be confirmed and Sony to drip divine. Last week, it looked like God of War: Ragnarok was really coming, but in the end, the official presentation for Sony investors caused only an embarrassing moment and probably a revelation that the author of that presentation was looking for the logo of a more unveiled game on Google…

Originally, we didn’t even want to write about the new God of War in connection with the mentioned presentation – the game logo simply appeared in the list of titles that the Japanese company identifies as key to the near future and was in the company of games such as Horizon Forbidden WEst, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart or Gran Turismo 7. But fans explicitly mentioned the subtitle Ragnarok smeared on social networks and considered it a confirmation of one of the many unknown actions of the designer Cory Barlog. However, it didn’t take long for some players to notice that the logo could be easily found at Google and definitely does not come from official sources. From there, it was not possible to quickly change the logo in the incriminated slides of the presentation and replace the probably fan work with the general logo of the series without a subtitle.

The IGN editors couldn’t sleep and asked Sony what he had described veletoč mean and received confirmation that the logo was indeed used in error. “The name and logo of the new game from the God of War series are not final yet. In our presentation to investors, we mistakenly used the wrong one. We can’t wait to say more and we apologize for the confusion, “said a spokesman for Sony. In other words, he confirmed a slightly Dadaist incident about how Sony’s official presentation is compiled by the company’s employees from unofficial materials, but on the other hand there are undoubtedly much more serious mistakes and this will be preserved as a merry incident, to which the aforementioned Cory Barlog. At the moment when IGN updated their article, he shared on his Twitter without the possibility of commenting on an all-encompassing gif, in which he probably wonders about the trampling. In the end, this is not important for us – we will be clear only after the presentation of Sony or its performance at one of the upcoming conferences in the E3 period, but not directly at this fair, in which the Japanese company does not officially participate.
