Afraid of the war? Then buy this Amsterdam air raid shelter
You can hide in a bomb shelter. If you are a bit scared, then this Amsterdam air raid shelter is ideal for you!
We live in turbulent times. War in Europe, climate change and extremely high prices to name but a few. This can make people restless. A bomb shelter can improve your peace of mind. And leave one for sale in Amsterdam.
Amsterdam air raid shelter
Such a real estate object is quite unique. Certainly in our largest city, where there is already little space. There is also a huge shortage of homes, which causes prices to rise enormously. Perhaps that’s why the owner thought now is the time to sell the cellar. You do need to bring a large bag of money with you.
Gino IJisberg is the owner. He bought the Amsterdam air-raid shelter for next to nothing (read: 15,000 euros in 2011). Now he is asking 1.1 million euros for it. That is a considerable return. Gino is also a broker, so he knows how to make a profit. Still, he says the price is a fair price. This is because you have to pay €27,500 per square meter for this ‘building’. If we look at the Amsterdam prices, this is not unusual, but it is significant. But again, we’re talking about a basement here.
Unique
The description states that it is a ‘unique object with cultural & historical value’ that you can turn into a ‘dream house or apartment complex’. As a developer you can redevelop things. It is not clear why the broker did not do this himself.
Interested in developing the lot or staying in the basement yourself, then go to the advertisement.
