According to Apple, music will change forever. What is Cupertine society up to?

Apple is enticing users to make big changes to the Apple Music streaming service. Users are now getting information in the app that they should prepare for the music to change forever. According to earlier information, Apple plans to offer lossless playback of songs. In addition, information appears on Dolby Atmos and Dolby Audio support.

Music will change forever, says Apple. Lossless playback will come soon

Information about the news that Apple is preparing was found in the Android code of the Apple Music application and also directly on the web. Newly, users should have it available play songs in 24-bit / 48 kHz, for real music fans, however, Apple is also preparing playback in 24-bit / 192 kHz. However, once you activate lossless playback, you have to expect a large increase in size. A size warning has also been found in the Android application code.

Currently, a three-minute song on Apple Music is about 6 MB in size; if 24-bit / 48 kHz is used, the size of the same song will increase to 36 MB, and for the highest quality in 24-bit / 192 kHz it is 145 MB. The benefit of higher quality is, of course, better sound quality. As soon as Apple launches this news, it will join the streaming services Tidal, Deezer and Amazon Music HD, which already offer lossless playback. Later this year, we should see the same feature for Spotify.

As for the mentions of Dolby Atmos and Dolby Audio, it is speculated that it will only be a novelty for the AirPods Pro and AirPods Max headphonesthat have the Spatial Audio feature. The exact date when we will receive all these news is not clear. However, behind-the-scenes information suggests that it could be later this week.
