A new look (and much more) for iPhoned

iPhoned has been given a completely new design! In this article we will briefly guide you through the most important improvements on the website. Are you reading along?

Read on after the ad.

iPhoned has a new design

As you may have already seen, we have iPhoned given a completely new design. The website has mainly become more visual: less text on the homepage, but more space for images and the articles that we publish every day. On the front page you now see five larger ‘blocks’ at the top, where we highlight the coolest articles of the moment. In addition, our popular device pages, such as those of the iPhone 13 and Apple Watch Series 7, now return directly to the home page.

If you go down a bit, you will see the most current messages below each other. Of course you will still find the parts that we have had on iPhoned for years: the news, our handy tips, the reviews and the apps we discuss. And of course we don’t forget to highlight our videos (which we post weekly on our YouTube channel). Everything looks clearer, more modern and sleek.

This is what news items now look like on the homepage.

Because the homepage is no longer a list in which we show articles in order of publication, you can now click through to the sections you want to view. If you’re looking for the latest Apple news, simply visit the news page to read all recent posts here. If you then click on ‘More news’, you will see a list view. So clear.

Very handy: on the left you can select a (product) category, brand or theme. For example, do you only want to see iPhone news? Or do you prefer to read about the Apple Watch? Then you tick the relevant box and the articles that are of extra interest to you will be shown immediately. This also works for tips, reviews and app articles we publish.

iPhone and Watch Pages + Guides!

We have also recently revamped the so-called product category sections on iPhoned, such as the iPhone page or Apple Watch page. This is where the latest news, useful tips and relevant reviews come together. If you are looking for a new iPhone (or other Apple product), you can see this page as a starting point for your search.

We are also very proud of a new part of iPhoned: guides. The first is already online: the great iPhone beginner’s guide! Here we tell you everything you need to know if you have bought a new iPhone. From setting up your iPhone to the best apps, and from the best iPhone accessories to the latest iOS updates. We’ve put a lot of time and love into this first guide, so we hope you enjoy it as much as the editors who wrote it!

Of course we are continuously improving iPhoned and that is why we are curious what you think of the renewed website. Are there still things that could be improved, or are you missing something? Let us know in the comments below, or send an email to editorial@bigspark.com! We look forward to your feedback.
