If you are tired of the current background on your smartphone or tablet, the long search can begin for another wallpaper. For this you can go to the Play Store where you can find many apps, or download pictures yourself. One of the apps you can download from the Play Store is Walpy, an app we stumbled upon thanks to a tip from Richard.

The application is characterized by a minimalist and calm design, where you can choose from a large number of backgrounds. On the home screen you will find two tabs; recent and popular. You can also go to collections at the bottom of the screen, manage your favorites and go to the settings. Via the settings you can, for example, set that the wallpaper is refreshed every so often, so that you always get a new background.

There is also a search function, so you can search, for example for photos of Iceland, the beautiful Rothenburg ob der Tauber or beautiful dog photos. When choosing a photo, you can apply various edits. Think of the blur, brightness, contrast, vignetting or placing certain symbols / stickers in the background. Once desired, the wallpaper can be set as a background on your homescreen and / or lock screen.
