The POCO brand is preparing another phone for us. POCO F2 Pro you may already know. Its price is not the lowest, but it is a very competitive smartphone. Now, according to the Android Police website, the company is preparing a model for us without the addition of “Pro”.

On December 31, 2020, an engaging video appeared on the Internet, indicating the arrival of a new smartphone. Despite the fact that much information about the upcoming news is still unknown, it is expected that the POCO F2 will have a Snapdragon 732G chipset, in combination with an AMOLED screen, whose refresh rate reaches 120 Hz. It’s a real lure, don’t you think?

Furthermore, users will also receive a 4250 mAh battery or NFC support. The first generation of POCO F1 disappointed many with the absence of an NFC chip. Fortunately, this is becoming a matter of course in several facilities from various price categories. Compared to its “Pro” edition, the novelty will be worse in some directions, but better in others.

For example, the screen shifts from LCD and 60 Hz to AMOLED and 120 Hz. However, the processor gets a more significant downgrade, as the better-equipped sibling has one of the most powerful mobile chipsets today, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865.

After all, in both cases, these are really successful-looking models, which are called the right competition for other manufacturers. Few will offer you as much value for a great price as Xiaomi. One of the best price-performance ratios is characterized by our recently tested Motorola moto g8 power. It is quite large, which is also indicated by the diagonal of the 6.4-inch IPS display with Full HD + resolution. The processor inside is the same as in the case Xiaomi Mi A3. We will find here Snapdragon 665, supplemented by 4 GB RAM. The phone also boasts a truly comprehensive range of cameras.

There are four and the primary has a resolution of 16 MP. The other three are used to create zoomed, ultra-wide, and macro images. The front camera is located in the so-called “hole-puch” and has a resolution of 16 MP.

From the connectivity there is GPS, 3.5 mm headphone jack and USB-C. The NFC is therefore missing. The biggest competitor for POCO F2 will probably be his older brother, POCO F2 Pro. As we have already mentioned, it has a 60 Hz LCD display and a Snapdragon 865. The POCO F2 makes this model tricky when it comes to the screen, but in terms of performance it will be a device for the less demanding. We would recommend the POCO F2 Pro especially to those who require perhaps better cameras, a frameless display and especially performance for everything possible.
