We were secretly hoping for hope: Apple also announced the MacBook Air 2022 tonight. The wafer-thin laptop is powered by the M2, Apple’s (also) brand new chip. The M2 is much faster than the M1 processor, which powers the previous MacBook Air (from 2020).
Furthermore, the new MacBook Air has a refreshed design with much thinner bezels. There is also a notch available. Furthermore, an old acquaintance comes into play: MagSafe is making a comeback on the MacBook Air 2022.

watchOS 9 bets on health
watchOS 8 was a relatively minor update, but that doesn’t fly for watchOS 9. The new software update for the Apple Watch focuses on health. From now on, for example, the accelerometer and gyroscope are used to measure exactly how you exercise (and walk).
This is useful, because it makes your personal health statistics much more reliable. In addition, watchOS 9 introduces so-called sleep stages. These phases indicate which sleep phase you are in, such as REM or deep sleep.
