Your Apple Watch watch face has a new and beautiful design. In the spirit of inclusivity (and to support or represent the LGBTQ community), you can now download a Pride watch face on your Apple Watch. The name of the dial is ‘Pride Strings’. We really like the dial. But we have to admit that it is a bit more difficult to read the time.
You can choose from a black or white background with colorful dangling lines that indicate the time. If you look at it with an oblique eye (something you already do with your watch) the time is a bit more readable. With this new dial you make a statement and you enter the summer in a colorful way. NB! The new Pride watch face is only available for Apple Watch Series 4 or later.

This is how you install the new watch face on your Apple Watch
The new Pride watch face of the Apple Watch can be installed in several ways. The easiest method is through the Apple Watch itself. Follow the steps below for this:
- Press and hold the screen of your Apple Watch until you feel a small vibration;
- Swipe right until you see a plus sign;
- Tap the plus sign;
- Tap ‘new watch faces’;
- Scroll to the Pride watch face and tap Add;
- Rotate the Digital Crown to adjust the background.
It is also possible to adjust the face of your Apple Watch with your iPhone. You do this with the Watch app. There, tap ‘watches’ > ‘new watch faces’. Here is the new colorful design. If you then tap ‘add’, your iPhone automatically sends this design to your Apple Watch.
Apple also releases applicable Apple Watch bands
In combination with these new watch faces, you can also purchase new Apple Watch bands. They both cost 49 euros and for the price it does not matter which size you buy. We think the Nike – Pride Edition woven sports band is the best.
