Apple AirTag Followed Us All Day At Disney World

A family at Disney World (Orlando, Florida) received a notification on an iPhone. It said that an unknown Apple AirTag had been around for a long time. Only the daughter’s iPhone noticed the AirTag.

When the daughter tapped the notification, she saw a card with a line. It showed where the family had been in the park for the past four hours. After a long search, there was no trace of an AirTag. Still, they called the police after hearing several stories about the stalking with AirTags.

AirTag not found: then the police can’t do anything.

The police were ultimately unable to prove a criminal offense because the AirTag was not found. The detective believes that because of the many iPhones and other Apple products in Disney World, a communication error has occurred. The notification has now been dismissed as a bug (a software error).

If the AirTag is found, the police can see what name it is registered under and interrogate that person for stalking. However, without AirTag, the police cannot do anything.

Apple has taken many measures against stalking

Apple continues to lag behind in these AirTag tracking incidents. Apple recently released a new firmware update. The AirTag now beeps louder if it has been labeled ‘unknown’ by your iPhone. He must have been around you for a long time.

An earlier update already caused a warning on your iPhone with an unknown AirTag. The family at Disney World also experienced this.
