YouTube Vanced goes black after legal threat from Google

YouTube Vanced is an alternative application that you can use to watch YouTube in a different way. Google disagrees, which is why Vanced is shutting down.

An alternative to this is the YouTube Vanced app. This application works a little differently; it blocks all advertisements, without you having to take out a subscription. In addition, it offers a number of additional options that are not offered by Google in the application.

However, the service goes black, the plug is pulled. The developers of the application have announced that they are stopping due to legal reasons. Those who have installed the application could still use it for about two years until it becomes obsolete.

Google has intervened against these types of services. The makers of Vanced are said to have been warned by Google to remove logos and references to YouTube, as well as the links that lead to YouTube videos. According to the makers, the service will stop within a few days.
