You can’t escape it, but the best earbuds for iPhone, iPad or Mac are the Apple AirPods. They work really well with all your Apple devices, making them the best choice for any Apple fan. You just have to choose which one you want.

As general earplugs, the AirPods 3 (from 179.95 euros) are the best choice. The fit and sound are better than the previous one (the AirPods 2). 2. Beats Studio Buds

The Beats Studio Buds are also an excellent choice if you are looking for a set of earplugs. Number two in our list of the best wireless earbuds has many of the same features as the AirPods Pro. Think, for example, of the active noise suppression, but they are a lot better priced at 149.95 euros.

Beats is a subsidiary of Apple. Although the Studio Buds are not an official Apple product, you can expect good cooperation with your iPhone or iPad. For example, you can activate the digital assistant Siri hands-free by saying “Hey Siri”. You also enjoy the spatial Spatial Audio.

Because the Studio Buds do not have an Apple chip on board, you do miss some functions. The premium earplugs from Sony (WF-1000XM4 for 249 euros) have very good noise canceling, which dampens the ambient noise. The great thing about the Sony earplugs is that you can adjust the sound reproduction entirely to your liking with the special Sony Headphones Connect app. There is also a fit test in the app that allows you to choose the ideal size for the tips (the silicone caps). 5. JBL Reflect Flow Pro White

The JBL Reflect Flow Pro (list price: 179 euros) is available in different colors, but we liked the white one the best. If you look around a bit, they are already for sale for 145 euros.

The great thing about the JBL earbuds is that they are waterproof (with IP68 certification). So you can immediately clean them under the tap after exercising. They also have active noise canceling and you can adjust the sound reproduction with the special app.

The best wireless earbuds: budget models

Is the price of the above top 5 best wireless earbuds just a bit too high? Then we have a top 6(!) with affordable alternative options. You don’t get all the functions of the expensive models with these earplugs, but you often save a lot of money.

1. Best Wireless Earbuds (Budget) Winner: AirPods 2

With the AirPods 2 you do not have all the functions of the AirPods 3 or the noise canceling of the AirPods Pro, but that they are good wireless earbuds is one thing that is certain. In addition, you also save quite a bit on the price. The suggested retail price of the earbuds was 149 euros, but they are already for sale for 129 euros.

2. JBL Tune 225TWS

These JBL earplugs are also great for the small purse. This gives you a great set for your daily activities. As with the other Sony earbuds, the app allows you to adjust the equalizer. They are splash-proof and available in four colours.

4. Sennheiser CX True Wireless

The Sennheiser CS True Wireless (list price 99 euros) also have its own app with which you can adjust the settings of the earbuds. They are also water resistant and therefore will not break due to rain or sweat. They are slightly larger than the average earplugs, but if you don’t mind that, then you have an excellent set.

5. Tribit FlyBuds NC True Wireless Earbuds

One of the cheapest wireless earbuds on our list, but certainly not bad. Originally, the Tribit Flybuds NC True Wireless Earbuds were 49.99 euros, but they can now be found for 29.99 euros. It is striking that these earplugs have ANC (active noise cancelling), which you normally only find on expensive earplugs. It’s not the best noise cancellation, but it can certainly get by. The earplugs are a bit larger and therefore fall out of your ear a little easier during exercise.

6. Skullcandy Dime TW

Finally, an extra budget tip: the Skullcandy Dime TW. These earbuds have a suggested retail price of 39.99 euros but are now for sale for 29.99. The earphones are sweat and water resistant (IPX4) and (according to the manufacturer) you can enjoy your favorite music for more than 12 hours after charging for an hour.
