The new Serious Sam will be released later this month -apkrig

The universe sometimes has a really special sense of humor. The day after we “loaded” the console version of Serious Sam 4 in the stream, Devolver Digital posted on the official Twitter discovered really interesting post. The publisher of the game and, since 2020, also the owner of the Croatian Croteam, is asking fans what they would say if the new Serious Sam was announced next week and released later this month.

And according to the smiley and the attached teaser, it seems that the intrepid main character is heading to cold regions. Some fans also respond quite annoyingly to the message by asking what if Croteam had fixed the previous game first, but otherwise, of course, this hint has aroused considerable interest, and it seems that the next episode is really out the door. Which is also surprising given the long development of the previous one.

However, this is not the first hint. The same clip appeared before Christmas as A Seriously Cold Teaser directly on the Devolver Digital YouTube channel. But then it was speculated that it would be more about DLC. Now it looks like a standalone game, but it may be a smaller spin-off and not a full-fledged sequel. Maybe thanks to the investment from Devolver Croteam he has better conditions to work on the sequel, maybe he entrusted the brand to another team…

In this context, it is worth noting that the series, the first part of which was released in 2001, has been waiting for a full nine-year continuation since the release of Troika (2011). Although Serious Sam 4 has been in development since 2012, it was not released until autumn 2020 for PC and Stadia. In December 2021, we then received an unexpected release on the PS4 and Xbox Series, where the game is also in the Game Pass. Unfortunately, she did not make a big hole in the world, see yesterday’s stream.
