OnePlus 9 5G photos leave little to guess
Thanks to an anonymous source, the website shares PhoneArena pictures of the OnePlus 9 5G. This creates a clear image of the device from every angle. The smartphone has a different camera module than its predecessor, the OnePlus 8T 5G. The camera bump consists of two larger camera sensors and a much smaller third camera plus the usual LED flash.
Unlike the back, the front of the OnePlus 9 looks a lot like its predecessor. OnePlus again opts for a screen without a notch and only a camera hole. The photos confirm that the 6.55-inch screen has thin edges. Compared to the OnePlus 8T 5G, the company is not making a big leap forward in terms of design.
Under the hood, the screen is interesting. For those interested: it looks very much like the new device will get a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Which results in smooth animations. The resolution of the screen is 2400 x 1080 pixels.
OnePlus 9 5G specifications are very promising
Further specifications are the impressive Snapdragon 888 chipset and 4500 mAh battery. The OnePlus 9 5G thus meets all the requirements of a flagship. In addition, the device is equipped with 8 GB of memory and 128 GB of storage capacity. The OnePlus 9 is therefore equal to the Samsung Galaxy S20.
The side of the OnePlus 9 has an aluminum edge with a metal look. The USB-C port and speaker can be found at the bottom. The SIM card holder is also located here.
For the observant viewer or the avid OnePlus fan, it immediately catches the eye: the logo on the back of the phone is different from the official OnePlus brand identity. The reason for this is that the smartphone manufacturer uses a different logo for its prototypes. OnePlus is not alone in this, other companies are also doing this.
