OnePlus is working on a new pair of wireless earphones from the accessible Buds Z series, as much was known before. We were already shown renders of the new eardrops and their case. The well-known rumor spreader Max Jambor now also gives us in a tweet some more information about the expected features and specifications.
The most important news is that the ears come with ANC, because we have not seen that before with OnePlus’ affordable Buds Z. Another important fact is that your earphones work with the newer bluetooth 5.2 standard, instead of bluetooth 5.0 with the Buds Z. It should provide a longer range and a more stable listening experience. The Buds Z2 will continue to work with Dolby Atmos sound and more has also been leaked about the battery. The earphones can play music for 5 hours with ANC or for 7 hours without the function. In combination with the battery capacity of the charging case, this is 27 hours with ANC and 38 hours without.

Furthermore, we learn even more interesting details about the design. You will be able to charge the case via a USB-C port and the earphones are IP55 dust and water resistant.
