Change Default Programs in Windows 10

You double-click on a file and Windows immediately opens the correct program because the system keeps a list of programs that belong to certain file types. But sometimes the system doesn’t know which program is suitable for a file type, and sometimes there are good reasons to change the existing assignment of default programs.
