Rammstein in the crossfire: fans finally want clarity

The German hit band has to deal with serious allegations – primarily against the lead singer Till Lindemann. According to research by NDR and SZ, sexual assault and abuse of power are said to have occurred. Many fans are shocked by the allegations and want clarity.

Allegations against Till Lindemann: sexual assault and abuse of power

A shock for Rammstein fans. How NDR and the SZ report, several women have reported to them and stand up serious allegations against the singer Till Lindemann. They report that young women are said to have been specifically recruited by people close to Lindemann to have sex with him in the run-up to the concerts or at after-show parties. Also alcohol and illegal drugs should have been offered to the women, so the allegations. Two of the women also talk about disturbing sexual assaults by Till Lindemann and even made affidavits.

In addition to the statements of those affected, there are also, according to NDR and SZ corresponding chat logs, which coincide with some of the allegations. And also the influencer Kayla Shyx published a video shortly after the publication of the research results, in which she describes her experiences from one of the said after-show parties:

This is how Rammstein reacts to the allegations

As already at the end of May first allegations of a Rammstein visitor made the rounds, commented on the tape only briefly on Twitter:

After the research results from NDR and SZ, the band posted another, somewhat more detailed post on Instagram:

While the reply option under the tweet has been disabled, fan comments are piling up under the Instagram post. Almost 7,000 answers have now come together. Many are demanding that Rammstein make another statement after the release of Kayla Shyx’s video. Other fans explain that they have decided to to cancel their concert visits due to the allegations.

Most commentators fervently hope that the matter is fully clarified – they want clarity and are not satisfied with the band’s first statement. The group has now apparently decided to have the claims investigated by a law firm. In addition, the band assistant Alena Makeeva is said to have been terminated with immediate effect (source: World). She too is said to have specifically recruited young women at the concerts for Till Lindemann.

The fact is: Despite the allegations the Rammstein concerts in Munich and Berlin will take place as planned. In Munich, however, the notorious Row Zero (a separate area directly in front of the concert stage) and the after-show parties seem to be avoided. That’s not the end of the song, however.
