Twitter experiences an outage that disconnects users from their accounts

Can’t log into Twitter even after several tries? You are not the only ones in this situation, a breakdown of the social network disconnects several users. This seems mainly to concern the use from the Web version rather than the mobile application of the social network.

User feedback also shows that the problem of disconnecting Twitter accounts particularly targets people who use Google Chrome as their Internet browser. Some with Firefox have no problem for example.

If you are in this situation, you can try to log in again. You enter your username, your nickname (and your security code if you have activated two-step authentication on your account). The page will then refresh, but you may not be logged in.

This seems to be a worldwide problem. There are several reports on DownDetector, with the first problems starting around 8:45 p.m. The issue is still current as this article is published.

Twitter has yet to publicly acknowledge the outage that is logging users out. An alternative solution is to use the mobile application. Otherwise, you have to wait and wait for the bug to be fixed. Hopefully for users of the social network that it will not be too long.
