The Chinese manufacturer Anker, best known for its power banks, has introduced new headphones through the Soundcore brand. For users of the Soundcore Liberty 4, there is the advantage that partially dispensed with a fitness tracker or a smartwatch can be. Instead, the earbuds take over the measurement of the heart rate, i.e. they provide information about the number of heartbeats per minute. Anker then graphically prepares the collected values ​​in an app.

Apart from the heart rate measurement, the Soundcore Liberty 4 can also score with extensive equipment. One active noise cancellation (ANC) is part of the party, which according to the manufacturer can be adapted to the needs of the wearer. Spatial audio is also included, as well as Bluetooth 5.3 and support for the LDAC and AAC standards.

The Earbuds officially offer one Running time of up to 9 hours (7 hours with ANC), together with the case, 28 hours (24 hours with ANC) of music and podcasts should be possible (source: sound core). 15 minutes at the socket should ensure a running time of 3 hours. Wireless charging is supported. Anker has not revealed whether the headphones are waterproof.

Anchor offers the Liberty 4 to start only in the US on. The headphones are available to order now in white or black for $149.99. It can be assumed that the earbuds will also come to Europe, although the manufacturer has not yet given a date or a price.
