how often do you play games on your smartphone
Do you often play a game on your smartphone, or does that happen very rarely? It’s the question in this week’s AW Poll. Cast your vote below.
Gaming on Android
Our phones are getting more powerful and that makes them more suitable for games. Games like Fortnite and PUBG are playable on Android, and it is also noticeable that developers are increasingly releasing the full version of a PC game on the Play Store. Do you like classics like the old Grand Theft Auto games and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic? You can just buy them for Android and they work with touch controls.
Almost everyone has a smartphone, so you can reach a potentially broad target group as a game publisher. It is not surprising that well-known titles in recent years also received an Android version. From the Diablo series to League of Legends, Call of Duty and Rocket League. Many of these games are free and developers make money from microtransactions. Sometimes they have been used more successfully than other times.
In recent years, gamers also have another option and that is cloud gaming. You can simply connect a controller to your phone and then stream high-quality games with services such as Xbox Cloud Gaming, Stadia and NVIDIA GeForce Now. tech manufacturers are also eagerly responding with gaming accessories like this new gadget from Sony (pictured above), or how about this handheld from Logitech?
