Xelly Cabau van Kasbergen experiments with children’s paint as make-up

We all have a few bottles of children’s paint in our cupboards – perfect entertainment for a drizzly day. Make-up artist Xelly Cabau van Kasbergen does not use the stuff on paper, but on her face, as a foundation. And this is the result.

‘Don’t try this at home’, Xelly writes in the video, in which she makes up herself. ‘I was in that mood again. Had to give it a try!’ And so she gets to work with a lick of red, yellow and blue paint. Xelly mixes the colors with day cream until she has the perfect color foundation and blush. To be fair, the end result looks pretty slick. But is it wise to try this yourself? Maybe we’ll just stick to a work of art on paper.
