9292 app now lets you choose how far you want to walk and cycle

A handy addition to the 9292 application. The new version of the app, which is being rolled out from now on, lets you set how much time you want to walk or cycle before and after your trip. There is also a handy improvement for GVB Amsterdam and Qbuzz travelers.

9292 with maximum walking and cycling time

A new update is available for the 9292 app in the Google Play Store. The latest version of the travel app makes it possible to adjust a convenient setting. It has been possible for years to plan your trip by public transport. You then see how many minutes you still have to walk to, for example, the bus stop. Some time ago, the option to cycle was added; your own bike or with a rental bike.

With the new update it is possible to set the maximum time you want to walk or cycle. This can be, for example, the time you need to get to a station or bus stop. For the return journey, this is the time you need to get to your destination from a station or bus stop. When you adjust this setting, the travel advice is adjusted to this as much as possible. You can also adjust the speed that is maintained for walking and cycling. Handy if you are a fast walker, or if you need a little more time to walk. You can adjust the speeds for walking, cycling, electric bicycle and scooter. You set the settings in advance. To do this, go to the side menu and then to settings.

From now on it is also possible to buy an e-ticket for your public transport journey, if you travel with the Amsterdam transport company GVB or with Qbuzz. The update can now be downloaded from the Google Play Store via the button below.
