New operation brings further changes

The new operation does not only bring changes for buyers of the DLC. Developer Valve took the publication of the additional content as an opportunity to implement some more changes, which have a big impact on the game.

  • Private matchmaking queues can be created.
  • Players can now search for competitive matches that only 16 laps left instead of going 30 laps.
  • Deathmatches are available in three different modes: Classic, TDM, Free for all

There were also other changes that should have a direct impact on the meta-game:

  • Grenades can now be dropped like weapons.
  • The Desert Eagle’s body damage has been reduced.
  • The body damage of the M4A1-S has been increased.
  • The price of the Akimbo pistols has been reduced to $ 300.
  • In hostage mode, the anti-terrorist unit can now purchase and equip a ballistic shield.
