1. Black Friday
November 25th is Black Friday. This is what the Friday after Thanksgiving is called in the United States. Since Thanksgiving traditionally falls on the fourth Thursday in November, the following Friday heralded the start of a family weekend and the start of the Christmas trade.
Many dealers and shops therefore lure with high discounts and special promotions – especially online. This also applies to Amazon. Last year, the online mail order company started its “early Black Friday offers” in mid-November.

2. Cyber Monday

3. Comdirect: EUR 50 bonus when opening a current account

4. Super saver fare at Deutsche Bahn
In the German train there is currently the super saver price campaign again. Long-distance ticket prices will increase by an average of around five percent from December 11th. However, the super saver price is still 17.90 euros. Travelers up to the age of 26 can in turn book the Super Sparpreis Young for 12.90 euros.
For seniors over the age of 65 there is now the Super Sparpreis Senioren for 15.90 euros. With the BahnCard 25 and 50, there is also a 25 percent discount on all super saver fares.
However, the action is tied to a move. Rebookings and cancellations are not possible. It is unclear until when the campaign will apply, since the railways make the duration dependent on a certain quota.
5. Cheaper Netflix subscription with ads
Netlfix introduces a new subscription model. From November 3rd, users of the streaming platform can book a “basic subscription with advertising”. Compared to the previous memberships, it is significantly cheaper at 4.99 euros. However, streamers have to accept advertising for this.
According to reports, Netflix wants to import about five minutes of advertising per hour. Anyone who opts for the new subscription model also has to accept a loss of quality and forego the download function. But the subscription costs three euros less per month than the normal basic tariff. Calculated over the year, this saves 36 euros.
