4ka Android Code 2020: We know the best Slovak applications and the winner of the Google Pixel 5 smartphone
The next year of the 4ka Android Code poll is at the end. The competition took place from 4 November 2020 to 31 December 2020 and we already know which applications you think are the best in each category. We also know the winner of the main prize – a smartphone Google Pixel 5.
The vote took place from 4.11.2020 to 31.12.2020. To enter the competition and send a valid vote, it was necessary to visit the site androidcode.mojandroid.sk/voting and select your favorite in eight competition categories:

- News and media
- Education
- Finance and business

Android Code 2020 reader nominations
In addition to individual nominations, this year we also included in the survey nominations that arose from the votes of readers on the MôjAndroid.sk website. Readers voted throughout the year in a series of regular monthly articles with a selection of the best Slovak applications.
How were the applications selected for the finals?
Even before launching the survey, we brought you an overview of all applications registered in the 4ka Android Code 2020 survey. within the editorial office. In total, we received more than 100 nominations, from which we had to shortlist for the final vote.
58 applications got here. We took several factors into account. All applications that won votes in articles with the best Slovak Android applications for the past period reached the finals. This was followed by applications with the best rating in the given category and with the largest possible number of downloads. We also took into account how big a step forward the application took in the past year. We also took into account when the developer had already been nominated for one of his other applications, in order to give space to as many developers as possible.
The application, which won in its category last year, could not vote.

Google Pixel 5 Smartphone Winner
From all those who participated in the voting for the best Slovak applications, we drew the winner of the brand new Google Pixel 5 smartphone, which was donated to the competition by Google. He becomes the winner Dušan Németh. Congratulations!
