The Oostvaardersplassen are located near Almere. Red deer, royal horses and heck cattle can be seen in the grass. At Nature Experience Center De Oostvaarders you have a beautiful view over the area. This is also the starting point for great walking routes for children.

Mouflons and boars

During a winter walk through the Hoge Veluwe National Park you might just bump into a mouflon or a wild boar. Foxes, badgers and pine martens also live in the Park, but they are quite shy. Extra special if you know how to spot these animals.
