How to detect a fraudulent page?

  • The name of the bank is Slovenská_sporiteľňa, so instead of a space there is an underscore
  • The number of followers is significantly lower, while the real site of Slovenská sporiteľňa has 155 thousand, only a few hundred fraudulent
  • Missing Facebook verification character (blue badge next to page title)
  • Comments on fake profiles are often under foreign names, but in Slovak and do not always make sense
