16 Xiaomi and Redmi models receive an update to MIUI 12.5

The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi is working hard to update its models for the MIUI 12.5 superstructure and also for its successor – MIUI 13. For more information on MIUI 13, see the article MIUI 13 revealed. We already know the date of the performance.

The igeekphone portal has published a list of 16 Xiaomi and Redmi models, which are currently receiving the aforementioned update in the second wave. In the first wave, the current and last year’s flagships of the Xiaomi Mi 11 and Mi 10 series were updated, specifically 7 models.

The latest MIUI 12.5 is now available to the following smartphones:

MIUI 12.5 with significant improvements

Please note that this is a stable final version. The superstructure offers significant improvements in safety and overall system speed, and the manufacturer officially introduced it in December last year.

If you own one of these models and have not yet received the update, try searching for it manually. Just enter the settings, then select “About Phone” and click on “MIUI Version” at the very top right. It is likely that the update will spread gradually in waves, so it is possible that we will wait for it in Slovakia for a while.
