11 smartphones will be updated to Android 13 this year

According to the latest reports, Samsung would like to update eleven devices to Android 13 this year. There are also a number of surprises.

Galaxys get Android 13

OnePlus was the first manufacturer to give the go-ahead to be the first to update a non-Pixel device to Android 13. It was the OnePlus 10 Pro that was the first to ‘receive’ this update. Various manufacturers will follow, as may be clear, and that includes Samsung.

Sammobile colleagues now have news about the update to Android 13 at Samsung. According to them, Samsung plans to update eleven devices to Android 13 this year. This new Android version will be combined with One UI 5.0 in the update.

It would specifically concern different devices that are obvious; the S22 series and S21 series. These are the Galaxy S22 Ultra, S22+ and the S22, along with the Samsung Galaxy S21, the S21+ and the S21 Ultra. Furthermore, the Galaxy Z is called Flip 4, Fold 4, Flip 3 and Fold 3. The Galaxy S21 FE does not seem to be mentioned before the end of this year. The most striking model that can expect the update to Android 13 this year is the Samsung Galaxy A53, something that is quite striking.

Other models will also be updated with Android 13. We have shared an overview of this in the Android 13 Update Overview. However, this will no longer be this year, according to these messages.
